Most of my adult career has been devoted to the design and formulation of new products in a wide variety of disciplines. One day in 1981, a man who described himself as a commercial reloader called us and asked if we could make "a bullet lube that works." We asked why he didn't just buy one, and he replied, "There are a lot of bullet lubes out there, but none of them work." He told us that a "good bullet lube would not be soft and messy," that it would not "melt out and kill the powder," that it would "prevent barrel-leading," and that it would "improve accuracy." He described the reloading industry, assured us of the existence of a market, and agreed to test our experimental formulas. Those clear parameters and a lot of intense R&D led to the creation of ZAMBINI® Pistol Bullet Lube, and with that ROOSTER LABS was born.

From that simple beginning, we have continued to develop innovative, premium-quality lubricants and polishes particularly for this industry. ROOSTER LABS products make it possible for individuals to produce professional-quality high-performance bullets and cartridges in their home workshops.
